After that i found amp cradle plans very similar to the one you built, (the dimensions were metric, so i bought a metric tape measure). when i started my next project, (a deluxe reverb), i find it just barely fits with the sides fully extended. i don't know why i didn't think to make sure it was big enough for a twin chassis!. See most who have em swear by the thing but $100 for an amp holder ! imo it elevates the amp up too much , i just use wood blocks set to the height i like with carpet on the chassis side to prevent scratching... The dst amp-cradle will safely and comfortably support most guitar amplifier's chassis whether you are building a new unit, doing repairs or modifying an existing amp. the amp-cradle is fully and easily adjustable up to 30" wide to handle the largest combo amps or heads..
